INSPIRATION AND PRESERVATION

Inspiration is (we might use the example) when God takes a blank piece of paper and uses men to write his words.
Preservation is when God takes those words already written and uses men to preserve them throughout the ages.

Psalm 12:6,7: "The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.
So by Verse 6 we know that the originals were perfect. They were inspired, they were pure words. But in Verse 7 it says "Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them f rom this generation for ever.

My absolute most favorite hymn of the faith ! No. 386, Believers hymn book.

Glory to Thee;
Thou Son of God most High.
All praise to Thee!
Glory to Thee,
enthroned above the sky,
Who died for me;
High on Thy throne,
Thine ear, Lord Jesus, bend
As grateful hearts
now to Thyself ascend.

Deep were Thy sorrows, Lord,
when heaven frowned—
Gethsemane!
Bloodlike Thy sweat, Lord,
Falling to the ground
So heavily;
Dark was the night,
but heaven was darker still,
O Christ my God!—
Is this the Father’s will?

Thorns wreathed Thy brow
when hanging on the tree,
Man’s cruelty!
Why lavish love like this,
O Lord, on me?
Thou lovest me!
Would that my soul could
understand its length,
Its breadth, depth, height,
and everlasting strength!

Thy precious blood was
freely shed for me
On Calvary
To save me from a lost eternity;
Glory to Thee!
Nor death, nor hell,
nor things below—above
Can sever me from Thy eternal love.

Like shoreless seas,
Thy love can know no bound;
Thou lovest me!
Deep, vast, immense,
unfathomed, Lord—profound,
Lord, I love Thee!
And when above,
my crown is at Thy feet,
I’ll praise Thee still for
Calvary’s mercy seat.

THE TYPOLOGY OF NOAH'S ARK

Genesis 6:14 - 16: "Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch. And this is the fashion which thou shalt make it of: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits. And this is the fashion which thou shalt make it of: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits. A window shalt thou make to the ark, and in a cubit shalt thou finish it above; and the door of the ark shalt thou set in the side thereof; with lower, second, and third stories shalt thou make it."

Verse 14: "Make thee an ark". There are three arks mentioned in scripture; the ark of Noah, the ark of bulrushes, and the ark of the covenant. The ark of Noah sheltered Noah and his family from God's wrath. The ark of bulrushes sheltered Moses from the wrath of Pharoah, and the ark of the covenant sheltered the two tables of the law (the ten commandments). In these three arks we see a picture of the believer who is sheltered from God's wrath, Satan's assaults and the condemnation of the Law.
Verse 14:"..............of gopher wood". The ark was made, not out of steel, but of wood. This teaches us that "life comes out of death". Trees had to "die" in order that the "life" of Noah and his family were secured. We read that the Lord Jesus Christ was "a root out of dry ground". Therefore the whole lesson here is "Substitution", the "death" of one for the "life" of another.
Verse 14:"............rooms shalt thou make in the ark". Rooms here suggest "a place of rest" coming from the root word "Gen" meaning "nest". Rooms are a place of rest and in my Father's house are many mansions (resting places) where surely the redeemed shall have eternal rest.
Verse 14:"............and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch". Oh what a picture here! Pitch in Hebrew is the word "Kapher" and it means "to cover". A similar word in our new testament is "atonement" which also means "to cover". Our sins are "covered" by the precious blood of our Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ. So the ark was covered within and without with pitch. So it is true of our "sin", covered within and without with the precious blood of the Lamb. Oh, what a book could be written on the word "Pitch".

Take a stand!!!!!

One of the scariest things in our present day is the definition of the term " All roads lead to Rome".
The origins of the phrase stemmed from the fact that, initially, all roads did lead to Rome.
The Romans were extremely skilled road makers...and the first to establish such a system of roads. They were also the first to use mile-markers.
The Romans designed their roads purposefully so that they all led to Rome, with Rome the central hub. This was done to hinder provinces from organizing resistance against the Empire.
While this is true all around us, there is a way of escape.for the born again blood bought believer in our Lord Jesus Christ. Open up your KJ Bible and be a Berean by testing all things by scripture to see if these things be so that is happening all around us. And "take a stand", but be sure of one thing, its going to cost you dearly. You will be excluded, shunned, criticized and mocked. It is the "narrow way", walk ye in it and before long we will be in the presence of the Lord.

"Come unto me"!!

15:20 And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
15:21 And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.
15:22 But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:
15:23 And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:
15:24 For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.
Upon repentance,as we see in this narrative,we see the heart of our heavenly Father towards us who have lived in squaller, have lived in the pigsty of sin and rebellion. yet we see our Father seeing us afar off, filled with compassion, ever eager and ready to forgive.

"Restraints"?

Did you know that elephants are trained to stay where they are by tying a rope around one of their massive legs and attaching it to a peg in the ground? Can the peg and rope really hold back an elephant? Absolutely not!
Then why does it work? Because elephants grow up believing it will. Maybe they tried pulling away when they were young with no success. Maybe they were injured by their action. After enough failures, they stop trying. They no longer test the restraint, and confine themselves when tethered to the rope.
This object lesson can certainly teach us about adopting false biblical habits when only a babe in Christ. We assume, like the elephant, that the way we believe and do things can never be changed- we are holden of it.
All that mature elephant need do is lift his leg and the rope restraint will snap like a twig. We too, can read afresh the scriptures and just walk away in total victory. What are your restraints? Are they Calvinism, unscriptural traditions, the version debuckle, materialism , etc etc? You be the judge.

AGENDA 21: The Earth Charter, The Ark of Hope and the New World Order

The central message of the scriptures.

The False Gospel of Calvinism

"To seek and to Save"

"And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden. And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?" - Genesis 3:8-9 KJV

After the fall. Sin had entered into the world. The eyes of Eve and her husband Adam were opened, knowing both good and evil. Eve had disobeyed the voice of the LORD God, being deceived by the serpent. She ate of the tree that was forbidden, and gave to her husband, who also ate. The serpent had promised that "ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil." (Genesis 3:5). The age old promise of enlightenment. But the disobedience did not bring the enlightenment in a positive way, but in a negative way. They were made aware of their nakedness, and were filled with shame. They attempted to cover themselves with an apron sewn with fig leaves, and then hid from the presence of the LORD. Sweet fellowship was lost. Innocence was lost. Paradise, lost. Eve and her husband were no gods, but were naked and shamed creatures hiding from the LORD. They were lost amongst the trees of the garden, lost in sin. The LORD came to seek for them. The first thing that the LORD said to fallen Adam was "Where art thou?". Neither Adam nor Eve sought after the LORD. They hid themselves from His presence. He came to seek them.

The poor wise man !!

Ecclesiastes 9:14,15 "There was a little city, and few men within it; ;and there came a great kiing against it, and besieged it, and built great bulwarks against it: Now there was found in it a poor wise man, and he by his wisdom delivered the city; yet no man remembered that same poor man"
In this two verse account there is a beautiful application of the Lord Jesus Christ and His redemption of mankind. Remember however, that this is an application only. Though everyone will not be redeemed, our Lord Jesus made provision for "whosoever will may come" Romans 10:13 "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
"There was a little city" In our massive universe that God created, lies planet Earth, so small in comparison to the mighty universe, yet still is precious in His sight. The creator of the mighty universe has all things (large or small) always in His love and care. Matthew 6:30 "Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?" Luke 12:6 "Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God."

Which are you???

There are only 2 types of people in the world. Those who are saved and those who are lost. These 2 types are clearly seen with the 2 thiefs that were crucified 2000 years ago. One was unrepentant and died in his sins, the other was repentant and was with the saviour in paradise that very day.
And notice, he was not baptized, notice, he did no good works but notice, he will spend eternity with our Lord Jesus Christ.
"It is finished"! The work of redemption was done by the shedding of the saviours blood. What is our part?
See your utter sinfulness and your current destination- hell, and turn by faith to the Lord Jesus Christ as did thief no. 2.
